Hi Tech News

Patrick George Mackley, P.Eng.
January 26, 1939 - March 20, 2011
Employed by Hi Tech Installations August
2004 - January 2009
It is with heavy hearts that Hi Tech
Installations Ltd. sadly announces the passing of Patrick G. Mackley
(our past General Manager and True Friend) at St. Boniface Hospital
on Sunday, March 20, 2011 while recuperating from a long illness.
Patrick, at the bright age of 65 years
young, was not quite ready for retirement, so he accepted the position
of General Manager at Hi Tech Installations Ltd. Patrick joined us
with all his industry experience and brilliant business sense which
was a great asset. Patrick was a person with so much wisdom beyond
engineering, drafting and designing, project managing, parts, installations,
projects large and small, sales, customer service and people skills;
he was a true gentleman which is a rare find in any lifetime of business.
Patrick's problem solving skills were another strong asset t hat he
brought to our business as he worked with customers, suppliers and
employees and could always come up with a great solution to any situation
anyone threw his way. In all the years that Patrick was employed with
Hi Tech Installations, not a day would go by without him being called
upon for his wisdom or knowledge. Patrick, with his creative drafting
and designing talents, was an instrumental part in changing much of
the agricultural / architectural landscape in Western Canada. Patrick
would take a customer's ideas and visions and turn them into a reality
and beyond. Patrick was also closely involved in many milestones of
our business. When our business moved to St. Andrews in 2005 he played
a large role with all matters relating to the move and startup of
the new, larger business location (he loved the challenge). Patrick
was employed with us from August 2004 until his health issues dictated
his semi-retirement in January 2009 at which time he wanted to slow
down and spend quality time with his family and his beloved dogs.
Patrick was not only an employee but
also a True Close Friend that will be truly missed by all of us.

“I go from you gently for it is my time to take the
next step in this journey of mine. I tried to put up a strong fight
but the Cancer won and now the unbearable pain in my body is finally
gone. Don’t grieve for me long as I’ve not left you alone for I will
be with you all in love that we’ve known. That love is forever and
someday when its time you’ll join me again on this journey of mine.”
